A growing and well-established manufacturing business in Dungannon is seeking a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern production environment, supporting machinery, plant services and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week on a rotating 3-week schedule:
- Week 1: Monday-Friday | 06:00 - 15:00
- Week 2: Monday-Friday | 10:00 - 19:00
- Week 3: 3 weekdays | 08:00 - 17:00 + Saturday-Sunday | 07:00 - 17:00
The Role: As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide day-to-day electrical maintenance across production machinery, equipment and site services. You will play a key role in ensuring operational uptime through fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and electrical project work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical maintenance support to production, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime.
- Carry out inspection, repair and fault finding on production equipment.
- Complete and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks through the maintenance management system.
- Support electrical installations, upgrades and commissioning projects.
- Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe and effective maintenance practices.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, including safe isolation practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Essential Criteria:
- Electrical engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability on electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
