Plus participation in a 5-in-7 Saturday rota, with some weekend working required.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the daily transport operation, helping to ensure deliveries are planned efficiently, drivers are supported and operational performance remains on track. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting transport planning and resource scheduling
- Assisting with driver dispatch and debrief activities
- Acting as the first point of contact for driver and customer queries
- Maintaining accurate transport records and operational data
- Producing KPI reports and updating operational systems
- Monitoring fuel usage and supporting fleet performance reporting
- Coordinating scheduled vehicle maintenance and asset records
- Working closely with transport, warehouse and operational teams to ensure a smooth daily operation
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy operational environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience within transport, logistics, warehouse or distribution operations
- Good geographical knowledge and an understanding of transport processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent administration and data entry skills
- The ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
- A positive, proactive approach and strong customer service skills
