My client, a global leader in financial services and market infrastructure, is hiring a PMO Analyst to join an established Change Portfolio Management Office based in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-performing transformation team supporting strategic business change across a global organisation.

You will be joining a global team responsible for delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives across a complex and fast-paced environment. Working alongside Project Managers, Finance teams and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting portfolio financial governance, reporting, assurance and project controls.
As a PMO Analyst, you will take ownership of portfolio financial activities including budget tracking, forecasting, actuals, accruals and variance analysis. You will support governance frameworks, produce executive reporting, challenge financial assumptions, and provide valuable insight into portfolio performance, risks and emerging issues. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across PMO governance, reporting and financial controls.
The Person
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced PMO, Portfolio Management Office or Change environment.
- Strong financial management experience including budget tracking, forecasting, actuals, accruals and variance analysis.
- Experience supporting financial governance, project controls and portfolio reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse, reconcile and present financial information.
- High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with Project Managers, Finance teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Experience supporting project or programme governance, quality assurance and compliance activities.
- Banking or Financial Services experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including SAFe, would be advantageous.
