  • Strong technical knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory requirements and audit evidence
  • Proven people leadership experience (Team Leaders and operational teams)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a root-cause mindset for continuous improvement

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience supporting payroll transformation or system implementation (testing, cutover, go-live)
  • Experience with public sector or large outsourced/shared services
  • Oracle payroll knowledge (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Payroll)
  • Experience supporting audit activity

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Practical, senior-level payroll knowledge through leadership/specialist experience
  • Desirable: recognised payroll qualification or membership (e.g., CIPP) and continued professional development

  • Security vetting to CTC level required
  • Must have been resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland for at least 3 years at the point of application
