The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day IT function
- Overseeing Service Desk and End User Support operations
- Managing, mentoring, and developing IT team members
- Acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues
- Managing relationships with external suppliers, vendors, and technology partners
- Monitoring and improving IT service performance across the organisation
- Ensuring incidents, requests, and problems are managed effectively
- Supporting infrastructure, cloud, and business systems environments
- Leading IT projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with IT budgeting, forecasting, and technology planning
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
- Ensuring IT security, governance, and compliance standards are maintained
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, IT Support Manager, or similar leadership role
- Proven experience managing Service Desk or IT Support teams
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and service providers
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Windows Server
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and end-user support environments
- Experience managing IT projects and service improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- ITIL certification
- Previous experience within a multi-site environment
- Experience managing outsourced IT services
- Exposure to cyber security and governance frameworks
- Project management experience
