About you
- Third level qualification or equivalent; CIPD qualification or working towards it
- Minimum 1 year's experience in an HR role with a focus on employee relations
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with flexibility to travel between sites
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
What you'll do
- Support managers and employees with complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, and grievance procedures
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance and support on employment legislation and HR policies
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts and managing disputes effectively and fairly
- Lead and promote employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes across sites
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at enhancing workplace culture and employee experience
- Maintain accurate HR records, process employee status changes, and support payroll queries
- Organise and support employee events, wellbeing activities, and communication campaigns to foster a positive work environment
