My client, a growing organisation undergoing significant digital transformation, is hiring a Data Analyst to join their Business Transformation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst looking to develop their skills across data analytics, business intelligence, automation, and AI-enabled technologies while supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering data-driven improvements across the business. Working closely with stakeholders across operational, technology, and leadership teams, you will help develop reporting solutions, generate actionable insights, and support automation and transformation initiatives.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Design and maintain SQL-based reporting solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI reporting within Power BI.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern analytics technologies, including AI-enabled solutions and automation tools.
  • Help improve business performance and operational efficiency.

The Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, datasets, and reporting solutions.
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI packs, and visual reporting tools.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Deliver meaningful insights through detailed analysis of business data.
  • Support continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of AI-enabled analytics capabilities and modern reporting approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Contribute to data modelling, reporting standards, and management information frameworks.
  • Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, governance, and documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value through data and technology.

The Person:

  • At least one year's experience in a data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or similar technical role.
  • Intermediate SQL skills with a desire to further develop technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps and Power Automate.
