This is an excellent opportunity to join a business experiencing sustained growth and to play a key role in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships across a varied client portfolio.
This role would suit an experienced account management professional with a background in technology or managed services who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering value‑led solutions.
The Role
Working within a collaborative commercial team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts while also supporting wider business development activity. The role will involve acting as a key contact for clients, understanding business objectives, and working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive tailored technology solutions and an excellent service experience.
Key duties will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across an established customer base
- Managing customer accounts and identifying opportunities for account growth and service expansion
- Working with internal technical and pre‑sales teams to create tailored technology proposals and solution recommendations
- Supporting the preparation of quotations, tenders and customer presentations
- Conducting regular client meetings both remotely and face‑to‑face
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and forecasting future opportunities
- Developing trusted relationships with stakeholders at varying levels within customer organisations
- Collaborating with partner organisations and internal departments to ensure successful delivery of client requirements
- Reviewing account performance and contributing to monthly commercial reporting
- Supporting wider new business activity and identifying opportunities for future partnerships
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, candidates should demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an Account Manager, Client Manager or similar customer‑facing commercial role
- Exposure to the IT, technology or managed services sector
- Proven experience managing and developing B2B customer relationships
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue objectives
- Experience producing customer proposals and solution documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
