Overview of Role: The business has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis, based in and around Dublin. The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical works and team, working on a range of projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating mechanical trades teams on site
- Leading installation of HVAC systems, pipework and general mechanical services
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinating with site managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain programme timelines
- Managing materials, tools, and labour allocation on site
- Monitoring quality of installation and ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover processes
- Resolving on-site issues and providing practical solutions to keep works progressing
- Enforcing health & safety standards and promoting best practice on site
- Assisting with progress reporting and daily site updates
Qualifications Required:
- Relevant Mechanical qualifications
- Experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on site
- Good leadership and team coordination skills
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Safe Pass / CSR Card
- Full clean driving licence
