My client is a well-established organisation currently undergoing a significant multi-year Digital Transformation Programme and is hiring a Digital Transformation Programme Manager to lead the planning, governance and delivery of a wide-ranging technology transformation programme based in Northern Ireland.
This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for coordinating multiple digital initiatives including cloud migration, corporate system implementations, data and reporting capability, and the retirement of legacy platforms.

You will work closely with senior leadership, operational teams, corporate functions, technology providers and external implementation partners to ensure digital initiatives are delivered effectively, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. The organisation is investing significantly in modernising its technology estate and improving its data and reporting capabilities.
The Digital Transformation Programme Manager will play a central role in establishing programme governance, coordinating delivery and ensuring that new systems and ways of working are successfully embedded across the organisation. As a Digital Transformation Programme Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the overall programme. You will develop and maintain comprehensive programme delivery plans, establish governance frameworks, manage risks and dependencies, oversee budgets and timelines, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
The programme will include initiatives such as Microsoft 365 migration, enterprise system implementations including Finance, workforce planning and CRM, business intelligence and reporting development, cloud transformation and the retirement of legacy systems. You will also play a significant role in organisational change and adoption, ensuring stakeholders are engaged throughout delivery and that staff are supported through communication, training, adoption planning and the transition from legacy processes.
The Person
- Minimum 4 years' experience leading complex organisational programmes or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering technology or digital transformation initiatives within a structured programme or project management environment.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners and technical suppliers.
- Strong experience establishing and maintaining programme governance, including reporting, risk management and escalation processes.
- Experience coordinating delivery across technical, operational and corporate teams.
- Proven ability to manage programme budgets, timelines and delivery plans.
- Experience supporting organisational change and adoption associated with new systems or processes.
- Experience delivering enterprise system implementations, such as ERP, CRM, workforce systems or data platforms, would be desirable.
- Experience working within health, social care, voluntary or public sector environments would be desirable.
- Experience delivering cloud or Microsoft 365-related transformation programmes would be advantageous.
- Strong programme management and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans.
- Experience of leading organisational change or transformation projects.
- Relevant degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP or Agile Project Management would be desirable.
