VANRATH are recruiting a Design Technician to work on fit out projects for a leading contractor based in Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration:
£35,000 – £40,000 Neg DOE + excellent package
Client:
Our client is a leading contractor that specialises in the fitout sector. The business have been operating for decades and specialise in creating bespoke interiors within the entertainment, luxury hospitality and prime residential sectors.
Due to continued growth, the business have an excellent opportunity for a Design Technician to join them on a permanent basis.
Overview of Role:
The Design Technician will be working on a variety of exciting fitout projects whilst being given the platform to enhance their skills and career further. This is a great opportunity to work on some high quality project projects.
Main Duties Include:
- Involved in the entire design process from concept stage to drafting a high standard of production & site drawings
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to understand & execute the project requirements
- Create design illustrations as per project specifications using 2D & 3D Software
- Produce production drawings, job sheets and cutting lists for our workshop team
- In collaboration with other teams, ensure design drawings exceeds client expectations
- Problem solve and approach all tasks with a can-do attitude
- Attend surveys when required and ensure all relevant information is documented for development and retention through the design, production, and installation process
The Ideal Person:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
- Experience working on fit out projects with detailed Joinery
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience working as a CAD / Design Technician
- Fully competent in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills
- Ability to effectively manage workload and achieve deadlines
