VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Plumber for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Coleraine site.

Responsibilities

  • To undertake all plumbing work as necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including bathroom suites/wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink‑tops, immersion heaters, shower trays and units and any other associated works.
  • To undertake, as and when required, first and second fix plumbing work.
  • To perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify repair and/or replace.
  • To complete tasks outside their trade where required for operational purposes.

Requirements

  • Have successfully completed an apprenticeship in plumbing (either time served or skills based).
  • Have a minimum of one year's relevant post apprenticeship experience working in a plumbing environment.
  • Can demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and legislation in a maintenance/repair environment.
  • A full current driving licence to enable the post holder to carry out the required duties of this post.

Remuneration

£27,694 - £32,597 plus Van
