VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the Derry/Londonderry area to recruit an experienced HR Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially focused HR professional to join a dynamic business and play a key role in supporting both strategic and operational HR activities across the organisation.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the HR Manager will lead the HR function, providing expert guidance across employee relations, performance management, recruitment, employee engagement, policy development, and organisational change initiatives. This role would suit an experienced HR Generalist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering closely with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day HR function
  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Support recruitment and workforce planning activities
  • Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Manage performance review and development processes
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Support organisational change and continuous improvement projects
  • Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience within a HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist role
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Commercially aware with a hands-on approach
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives is desirable
