Introduction / Overview

VANRATH have partnered with an established organisation seeking to appoint an experienced HR Lead to support and drive its people strategy within a busy operation. This is a key leadership role focused on workforce planning, organisational development, employee relations and supporting operational performance through effective people management practices.

Salary: Competitive salary package - Up to £50,000

About You / Candidate Requirements

  • CIPD qualified HR professional with significant generalist HR experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience operating in a senior HR advisory or leadership role within a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters confidently and effectively
  • Experience supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures and workforce planning
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align HR strategy to business objectives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience coaching and supporting managers on people-related matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience supporting learning, development and talent management initiatives
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support
  • Develop and implement workforce planning initiatives aligned to organisational goals
  • Support organisational design and continuous improvement activities
  • Lead and manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance issues
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers to strengthen leadership capability and employee engagement
  • Support organisational change projects including restructures, redeployment and consultation processes
  • Use workforce data and insight to inform decision-making and identify trends
  • Promote employee development, succession planning and internal career progression
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current legislation
  • Support the delivery of training and people development initiatives across the organisation
