About you
- NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety Management or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong shop-floor safety presence
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS audits
- Internal EHS auditor qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead training sessions
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
What you'll do
- Drive a positive safety culture by engaging employees and managers at all levels
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures
- Lead site inspections, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Support environmental compliance activities, including waste and hazardous substance management
- Deliver EHS training and awareness programmes
- Maintain and report on EHS KPIs, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Assist with internal and external EHS audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems implementation and maintenance
