VANRATH have partnered with Ireland's largest motorhome dealers. The client is seeking to hire a Damp Repair Technician for the expanding business. As you will be undertaking all aspects of motorhome and caravan damp testing and repairs, previous experience from a Joinery, woodwork or Coachbuilding background would be advantageous.
Location: Magheralin
You deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our customers.
The Role:
- Carry out motorhome and caravan damp tests using a damp meter and accurately record findings.
- All aspects of subsequent required damp repairs including:
- Removal and refitting of exterior trim components.
- Removal and refitting of interior furniture and appliances.
- Replacement of affected damp timber and wall boards.
- Proper drying and sealing of affected area.
- Gluing, bonding and sealing of affected components.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in Joinery, Coachbuilding, Body repairs.
The Person:
- Must be fluent in English and be able to write competently.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent verbal communication skills - has the ability to convey information verbally and in writing to fellow team members and customers.
- Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks.
- Able to work as part of a team and individually.
- Able to adapt to the company's needs in the way we deliver our service.
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work.
- Clean driving licence.
