About you:
- Qualified Accountant
- Approximately 3 years PQE in a finance role, with management experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Experience leading a finance team and managing daily financial operations
- Proactive with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting standards
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the daily finance functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow management
- Supervise and develop the finance team, promoting a high-performance environment
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Support senior management with financial analysis and strategic planning
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings
- Manage supplier, subcontractor payments, and cashflow forecasting
- Identify and implement process improvements within finance operations
