Solicitor – Conveyancing Location: Derry We are working with a well-established and highly regarded Derry-based law firm to recruit a Solicitor to join their practice. This opportunity is open to solicitors at all PQE levels , and both full-time and part-time working arrangements will be considered. This role would suit a solicitor with a strong background in residential conveyancing who is keen to work within a supportive, client-focused firm offering a stable and long-term career path. The Role The successful candidate will primarily manage a residential conveyancing caseload , handling matters from instruction through to completion. Exposure to commercial conveyancing , as well as Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration , will be an advantage but is not a requirement , and the firm is open to supporting further development in these areas. Key Responsibilities Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of title Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with Law Society of Northern Ireland regulations Assisting with or developing exposure to commercial conveyancing and private client work (where applicable) About You Qualified Solicitor (all PQE levels considered) Proven experience in residential conveyancing Commercial conveyancing and/or Wills & Probate experience is advantageous but not essential Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision Strong client care, communication, and organisational skills What\’s on Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience Flexible working options (full-time or part-time) Supportive and established working environment Opportunity to broaden your skill set over time Long-term career stability within a respected local firm This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing solicitor seeking quality work, flexibility, and career longevity within a reputable Derry-based practice .
