VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious and growing organisation in their recruitment of a Commercial Finance Lead / Head of FP&A.
This is an initial 6-month contract with a clear view towards becoming permanent and represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial finance professional to play a key role in that next phase of growth.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the FP&A and commercial finance function, providing the financial insight, challenge and analysis required to support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.

About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
- Significant experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insight
- Experience within a multi-site, international or growing organisation would be advantageous
- Comfortable operating in a senior, hands-on finance position
What you'll do
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes across the business
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Provide commercial insight around performance, profitability, investment and future growth
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams across the organisation
- Analyse performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide constructive challenge to stakeholders and help drive improved commercial performanceSupport senior leadership with strategic projects and wider business initiatives
