We are seeking Plumbers to support a public sector maintenance service delivering essential repairs and installations across residential and non-residential properties. This role is key to ensuring safe, reliable water and heating systems within public buildings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Work on hot and cold water systems, drainage, sanitary ware, and heating components
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective remedial works
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete planned tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and service users
- Complete job documentation and report additional works required
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or time-served experience
- Experience in maintenance or public sector settings desirable
- Sound knowledge of health & safety and safe systems of work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Access Ni Basic Check
