You'll work closely with senior leadership to improve systems, reduce rework, and ensure high technical standards are maintained throughout.
The Role:

- Produce accurate, detailed technical and working drawings for manufacture, fitting, and approval
- Set and enforce drawing standards and technical consistency across all projects
- Coordinate workflow between Design, Production, and Installation teams
- Implement and maintain quality checkpoints across all stages of delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards, energy efficiency, glazing performance, and structural requirements
- Maintain clear systems for drawing control, document management, and job tracking
- Support day-to-day coordination and prioritisation within the design function
- Work closely with production and site teams to resolve technical issues early and prevent rework
- Drive continuous improvement across technical processes, systems, and communication
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience producing technical drawings within a manufacturing, joinery, glazing, construction, or bespoke build environment
- Proven ability to manage design and technical workflows across multiple departments
- Solid understanding of thermal performance, glazing systems, structural detailing, and compliance standards
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and process-driven
- Confident coordinating people, priorities, and deadlines
- Comfortable balancing hands-on design work with technical and operational oversight
- A continuous improvement mindset with an eye for simplification and standardisation
What's On Offer:
- Influential role within a growing, well-invested business
- High level of ownership and autonomy
- Opportunity to shape design standards, technical processes, and delivery methods
- Long-term career progression for the right individual
