We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced Capital Allowances professionals who would be excited by the opportunity to join a growing international tax team. This is not a traditional role where you simply slot into an existing structure. The Role As a Capital Allowances professional, you will work on a broad range of UK Tax advisory projects, helping clients understand and maximise available tax reliefs in relation to capital expenditure. The role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise, work with clients across international markets and play an important part in the growth of the wider tax offering. What You Will Do * Advise clients on UK Capital Allowances * Identify opportunities to maximise available tax relief on capital expenditure * Review capital expenditure and assess eligibility for tax relief * Work alongside Corporate Tax and wider advisory teams * Support R&D and other tax incentive projects where appropriate * Manage client assignments from initial scoping through to completion * Prepare high quality technical reports and client deliverables * Build strong relationships with clients and professional advisers * Support business development and identify opportunities within existing client relationships * Mentor and develop junior members of the team * Contribute to the continued development of the Capital Allowances offering What's in It for You? * The opportunity to join a growing international tax platform * A specialist role with significant scope to develop * Exposure to UK Tax work across international markets * The opportunity to work alongside R&D, Corporate Tax and Transaction Services specialists * A role that can be shaped around your technical strengths * Genuine progression opportunities * Flexible working arrangements * The opportunity to develop a specialist service line within a growing team * The chance to be involved at an exciting stage of the organisation's expansion Requirements * Strong experience in UK Capital Allowances * Experience within an accountancy, professional services or specialist tax environment * Strong technical understanding of UK tax incentives * Experience advising clients on capital expenditure and tax relief * R&D Tax experience would be highly advantageous * Strong client management and communication skills * Commercial approach and an interest in business development * CTA or equivalent professional qualification advantageous What's the next step?
