Business Development Manager
Location: Belfast - hybrid, with office and field-based working
Salary: Up to 40K base + 20K OTE

The Opportunity
An established Northern Ireland technology and communications provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across NI, ROI and Great Britain.
You will sell a broad portfolio of IT, telecoms and connectivity solutions, including cloud and on-premise voice, mobile, business connectivity, Wi‑Fi, LAN and SD‑WAN services.
This is primarily a new business role, focused on generating leads, closing opportunities and developing long‑term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close new business opportunities
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Sell across multiple products, sectors and markets
- Negotiate commercial terms and multi‑year agreements
- Manage and grow the accounts you secure
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
- Attend networking events and customer meetings
- Work closely with pre‑sales, finance and service delivery teams
About You
- At least three years' B2B sales experience, ideally within IT, telecoms or another growth sector
- Proven ability to generate leads and win new business
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated, commercially driven and target‑focused
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and stakeholders
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team

Customer travel will be required, mainly across Northern Ireland, with occasional travel to ROI and Great Britain.
