Client: Established M&E Contractor leading the way throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland for half a century. The business is well equipped to achieve excellence in innovation, quality and delivery in every project they carry out. They work across various sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial. The business has a proud heritage of traditional skills and values, with a high level of client satisfaction, repeat business and recommendations achieved due to their excellent delivery and value.
Overview of Role: The business has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based in their Dublin office with site visits in and around Dublin. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any given time; projects are varied across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule and budget while delivering a great quality product to our customers
- Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation
- Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards
- Providing reports for meetings with managers
- Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions
- Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, applications for payment and variation control
Qualifications Required:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
- Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Contracts Manager
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong understanding and knowledge of various HVAC systems
- Sound understanding and knowledge of mechanical co-ordination and building modelling
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis
- Good IT skills especially with MS Office software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
- Safe Pass / CSR Card
- Full clean driving licence
