VANRATH is recruiting a Bid Writer/Manager for a well-established engineering company based in Northern Ireland. This is a senior role leading complex bids and tenders while driving business development activity in support of the company's growth strategy. You will work closely with engineering, projects, commercial and senior leadership teams, taking ownership of the full bid lifecycle from opportunity capture through to submission and post-bid review. Permanent, full time Hybrid working available Private healthcare Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex bids and tenders from identification through to submission and debrief Develop win strategies, value propositions and differentiators for each opportunity Coordinate technical, commercial and operational contributions across multidisciplinary teams Manage pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity Build and maintain client relationships, identifying new business development opportunities Contribute to framework submissions, strategic partnerships and supply chain development Conduct market and competitor intelligence to support strategic positioning Drive continuous improvement of bid processes, methodologies and standards What You'll Need Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction or related discipline plus 3 years' bid/BD experience, or 5+ years' experience without a degree Proven track record managing complex bids or tenders end-to-end Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including engineering and commercial functions Strong commercial awareness and understanding of competitive positioning Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders and lead client presentations Experience within engineering, construction, utilities, energy, water or a related B2B environment is highly desirable Skills: Bid Coordinator Bid Writer Bid Engineering Tenders Business Development Marketing Benefits: Work From Home + package TPBN1_NI
