This is a key warehouse leadership role within a drinks distribution operation, focused on wholesale bulk activities. You'll plan, direct, and coordinate smooth daily operations, lead people management activities, ensure compliance (including H&S and HACCP), and support continuous improvement to drive performance and service continuity.
About you (Essential)
- Experience managing in a warehousing environment
- Excellent communication, people management, and customer service skills
- Strong organisation, administration, and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of distribution operations, including H&S and HACCP
- High-level computer literacy with accurate reporting and strong spreadsheet capability
- Ability to interpret operational data and identify issues quickly
- Willingness to support the business by living the company values
- Exposure to LEAN / Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Strong Microsoft suite skills, with an emphasis on accuracy
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), with Maths and English at grade C or above
Nice to have skills
- NVQ Level 3
- Experience compiling and presenting KPIs to senior level
- Project experience (including warehouse layout/design)
- Advanced spreadsheet/database capability
- Experience of review, control and keeping within a set budget
Preferred Education and Experience
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above, or equivalent)
- Proven track record leading a team in a fast-moving, customer-focused warehouse operation
- Experience with operational reporting (KPIs) and maintaining accurate administration records

- Willingness to support business needs during peak periods and operational changes
- Commitment to health and safety responsibilities and compliance duties in line with relevant legislation and company procedures
