VANRATH Recruitment is partnering with a large public sector organisation in Belfast to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist for an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join a busy HR function supporting recruitment across a range of specialist and hard-to-fill positions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing innovative attraction strategies, improving candidate engagement and supporting hiring managers through the full recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Developing and reviewing job descriptions and recruitment materials
  • Creating innovative attraction strategies for specialist vacancies
  • Supporting candidate selection and onboarding activity
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Assisting with recruitment events and talent attraction initiatives
  • Providing recruitment insights and market recommendations

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an in-house recruitment role
  • Experience recruiting for difficult-to-fill or specialist vacancies
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
