VANRATH are partnering with a global technology leader as they continue to grow their engineering function. My client is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a modern Agile environment, working on complex, high-impact software used worldwide. You'll champion quality across the full SDLC, drive automation (with a strong focus on API-level testing), and work closely with product, development, and global QA teams to deliver robust, scalable software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional and automated testing within an Agile team.
- Drive BDD/TDD approaches and ensure quality is built in from the start.
- Design and maintain automated test suites for CI/CD environments.
- Mentor team members and promote QA best practice.
- Identify risks early and support continuous improvement across the team.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years' QA experience
- Strong automation skills using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/Typescript
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and performance testing tools (JMeter).
- Strong understanding of functional, non-functional, and API-level testing.
