This is a role that is initially set for a period of 6 months, with the opportunity to become permanent. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Management Accountant will play a key role within the finance function, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial information to the Senior Leadership Team. To be considered for this role it is essential to have a balance of strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset. Interviewing immediately.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a management accounting role
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a collaborative finance environment

What you'll do

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
  • Management of month-end processes, including support for balance sheet reconciliations and accounting controls.
  • Management of internal recharges, accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with operational teams.
