The Role:
- Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure control integrity
- Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Liaise with auditors and support year-end audit processes
- Provide financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements within the close cycle
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider finance function
About you:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience delivering month-end and year-end processes in industry
- Ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Insurance or financial services experience desirable but not essential
