Are you a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new opportunities while building strong, long-term client relationships? Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth following the launch of an innovative fintech platform designed to transform how businesses access specialist financial services and innovation funding. This role will combine sales development with account management. You'll engage with prospective customers, introduce them to the platform and manage relationships throughout the onboarding process and beyond.
Working with founders, SMEs, scale-ups and growing businesses across the UK and Republic of Ireland, you'll help clients understand the platform, increase adoption and identify opportunities to grow each account.

About the Company
Our client is an established advisory firm with a strong track record of helping businesses access specialist funding and financial support. Building on its existing client relationships and technical expertise, the company has launched a new fintech application that provides businesses with a simpler, faster and more transparent way to discover and manage funding opportunities. You'll join the commercial team and play an important role in developing new customer relationships, supporting existing accounts and contributing to the continued growth of the platform.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in account management, sales development, business development or B2B sales
- A strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Confidence engaging with business owners, founders, directors and senior stakeholders
- A consultative approach to understanding customer needs
- Experience identifying opportunities to cross-sell, upsell and grow accounts
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience within SaaS, fintech, professional services or financial services would be advantageous
- A proactive and commercially focused attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new sales opportunities across the UK and Republic of Ireland
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound activity, referrals and networking
- Introduce businesses to the company's fintech platform and wider advisory services
- Manage relationships from initial contact through to onboarding and ongoing account development
- Build trusted relationships with start-ups, scale-ups and established SMEs
- Support customers with platform adoption and ensure they receive a high standard of service
- Identify opportunities to increase account value through additional services
- Maintain an accurate and healthy pipeline using the company's CRM
- Work closely with advisory, product and technical teams to resolve customer requirements
- Gather customer feedback to support platform improvements
- Represent the business at meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions
