We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for a Sales Administrator to join their busy team in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth coordination of sales administration activities.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing sales orders, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with internal departments including logistics, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure customer expectations are met and orders are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders received via email and telephone.
- Accurately input and manage customer orders using SAP.
- Update existing orders with amendments and changes as required.
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding order status and deliveries.
- Proactively communicate delivery updates and schedule changes to customers.
- Prepare and issue sales quotations.
- Convert quotations into confirmed sales orders.
- Track outstanding orders and purchase orders.
- Process product returns and service-related requests.
- Manage and respond to enquiries within the sales inbox.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
- Liaise with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and external agents to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately and within agreed service levels.
