CLIENT One of Northern Ireland's most prominent aerospace manufacturers. It specialises in the design, testing, manufacture and assembly of complex composite and metallic aerostructures, including wings, fuselages, nacelles, and flight control components.
The Ideal Person
- Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.
- Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements and have at least 3 years previous experience in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out product inspections and Quality Control / Quality Assurance activities on Aircraft structures.
- Ensuring product compliance with design, customer and regulatory authority requirements and regulations.
- Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme.
- Working flexibly in groups and on shifts.
- Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action.
Hours 36 Hours per week
Role will require an Access NI to be completed
6 Month Contract
Remuneration c£36,000 - £38,000 per annum + a fantastic range of benefits
