My client, a fast-growing and award-winning SaaS company operating within the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector, is hiring a QA Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a data-driven organisation working on a highly scalable platform that processes over a billion documents each month.

You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering high-quality software and improving customer experience. Working closely with the QA Lead and developers, you will play a key role in ensuring product reliability and reducing defects in production. As a QA Engineer, you will design and execute test cases for new features, perform exploratory and manual testing, and contribute to the development of automation frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers and product managers, helping to ensure alignment with quality objectives while continuously improving QA processes.

The Person

  • Experience in functional and non-functional testing
  • Strong SQL and data querying skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Based in the United Kingdom

Desirable:

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g. C#, Java)
  • Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
