You’ll be joining a large regional public sector organisation delivering essential housing and community services across Northern Ireland. The Legal Services team plays a key role in supporting the organisation's statutory functions, governance and operational delivery.
About you
- Qualified Solicitor entitled to practise in Northern Ireland
- Minimum 24 months' post-qualification experience in litigation matters within the High Court or County Court
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
- Experience managing a busy caseload and working to deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full driving licence (or access to suitable transport)
What you'll do
- Provide legal advice and assistance across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters
- Support the conduct of High Court litigation, judicial review and tribunal proceedings
- Manage and progress legal casework under the supervision of Senior Solicitors
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinion papers and briefing materials
- Liaise with clients, Counsel, courts and external stakeholders
- Assist with public liability claims and policy-related legal matters
- Maintain accurate case management records and reporting systems
- Support senior management and contribute to legal service delivery objectives
