About you:
- Experience working within a procurement function or department in a large organisation
- Proven success in delivering procurement benefits such as savings, efficiencies, and sustainability
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end tender exercises, including use of online tendering portals
- Studying towards CIPS Level 4 or committed to completing within two years
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
What you'll do:
- Support procurement projects by delivering efficient and compliant activities in line with legislation and best practice
- Assist Category Managers and stakeholders in developing procurement and commercial strategies
- Identify risks and advise on appropriate mitigation measures
- Prepare and review procurement and tender documentation to high standards
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers, providing expert procurement advice
- Support contract management and supplier performance to ensure value for money
