Client: A large utility organization, based in Northern Ireland. The role of PMO Analyst operates within the IT Project Management Office (PMO), to support delivery of IT projects to the value of over £30m. This is an ongoing contract role, should be seen as being client side, full time hours and feedback from current VANRATH contractors is that this is an excellent place to work.
The Ideal Person
- Demonstrable experience in working within a structured project management framework and/or in a PMO within a medium to large organization.
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques such as PRINCE2.
- Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Responsibilities
- Management & reporting of team resource.
- Management & reporting of team utilisation.
- Provide impact assessments working with the PM & BA team.
- Chase outstanding project RAID updates.
- Chase overdue project milestones.
- Work with the PMO manager to create and standardise processes and templates.
- Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on overall progress.
- Organise meetings, take actions and follow up on action points / overdue responses.
- Organise project lessons learned reviews, assess results.
- Facilitate the definition and delivery of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Provide required reporting to the PMO Manager.
- Ensure impact assessments are carried out for all change requests.
Salary/Benefits: £250 per day (Inside IR35), alongside discount benefits.
