Are you looking for a Plumber role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company? VANRATH are recruiting a Plumber to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This will be an initial 3 month contract with great possibility of it leading to a permanent position.

Remuneration: £31,200 van / fuel card / package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions
  • Install and repair water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing-related appliances
  • Ensure compliance with current plumbing codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and safety checks
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Communicate effectively with clients and tenants to explain necessary work and provide maintenance advice
  • Any other reasonable management request

The Ideal Person:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Valid JIB card
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction
  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work
  • Knowledge of current plumbing codes and standards
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Basic AccessNI Check is required
