About you:
- At least 3 years' current experience as a payroll professional processing UK payroll
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office 365/SharePoint
- Knowledge of HMRC and pension submission deadlines
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Willing to work flexibly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end payroll for multiple company divisions, including different pay frequencies
- Prepare payroll inputs from time and attendance records
- Reconcile benefit-in-kind and pension payments; ensure HMRC and pension filings are completed on time
- Maintain employee records and process payslips efficiently
- Handle employee payroll queries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Reconcile payroll data with financial systems and prepare annual reports such as tax forms
- Support administrative tasks including filing, reporting, and payroll projects
- Contribute to team goals with a focus on best practices, safety, and service excellence
