The Role
You will play a key role within the firm's payroll bureau, supporting a varied client portfolio and ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
What You Will Do
- Administer payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Prepare and submit all employer reports in line with statutory requirements
- Support the Payroll Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the payroll bureau
- Assist with additional client reporting requirements
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all work
- Liaise with both internal teams and external clients to resolve queries
- Support other areas of the firm where required, including ad hoc assignments
- Gain exposure to bookkeeping and accounts work as your experience develops

Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in practice or a payroll bureau environment
- Experience of HSC payroll (desirable)
- Working knowledge of payroll software
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
