Client VANRATH are delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Belfast City Centre who are currently recruiting an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team, initially on a 6-month contract basis with potential for permanency for the right candidate.
The Ideal Person
- Part-Qualified Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper
- Third level education, part-qualified accountant or IATI qualified
- Proven experience in a similar role
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Director in the management of the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including invoicing, accounts payable, banking and other transactions.
- Assist with the management of the Company's Ledgers.
- Assist with statutory and external audits.
- Deal with finance queries and ad hoc duties.
- Assist with Month end balance sheet reconciliations/report preparations.
- Credit control activities.
- Collate purchase requisitions from team and place orders when necessary.
- Process monthly expenses.
