Client VANRATH are delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Belfast City Centre who are currently recruiting an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team, initially on a 6-month contract basis with potential for permanency for the right candidate.

The Ideal Person

  • Part-Qualified Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper
  • Third level education, part-qualified accountant or IATI qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Director in the management of the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including invoicing, accounts payable, banking and other transactions.
  • Assist with the management of the Company's Ledgers.
  • Assist with statutory and external audits.
  • Deal with finance queries and ad hoc duties.
  • Assist with Month end balance sheet reconciliations/report preparations.
  • Credit control activities.
  • Collate purchase requisitions from team and place orders when necessary.
  • Process monthly expenses.
