We're recruiting for a Transport Line Manager to join a busy distribution site where you'll play a key role in leading transport operations, developing your team and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of goods across the network.

Salary up to £41,000 depending on experience 5% annual performance bonus Rotating shifts: 06:00 - 14:30 14:00 - 22:00 Excellent opportunities for career progression Ongoing training and professional development Company benefits and employee discount schemes Supportive leadership team and collaborative working environment The Role As Transport Line Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy transport operation, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, legally and on time while maintaining high operational standards.
Leading, motivating and developing a large team of drivers and transport colleagues Managing daily transport operations to maximise efficiency and customer service Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, tachograph regulations and Health & Safety requirements Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Managing departmental budgets, payroll and resource planning Building strong working relationships across transport, warehouse and wider operational teams Supporting strategic initiatives to improve service, efficiency and overall operational performance About You You'll be an experienced transport professional with a proven track record of managing teams within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment.
A valid Transport Manager CPC (National & International) At least 3 years' experience working within a national logistics or distribution operation Experience managing transport teams in a high-volume, customer-focused environment Strong knowledge of transport legislation, tachographs, Health & Safety and HACCP Experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with Stratum or CSNX would be advantageous) Why Apply?
