VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a leading firm in Belfast City Centre with the recruitment of a Legal Secretary. The role will be performed Monday - Friday (Flexibility available if required) and is based in Belfast City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for any legal secretary with relevant experience to settle within a top firm that looks after their staff and provides various incentives. The successful candidate will work within Conveyancing. This is a permanent position at a firm with a fantastic reputation in Northern Ireland and a great retention rate.

Salary: Fully negotiable - highly competitive rate of pay + great benefits & flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents.
  • Ability to navigate land web and deal with post-completion registrations.
  • Organise, manage, and maintain case files for easy access and reference.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, handling inquiries promptly.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining schedules.

The Ideal Person:

  • Essential: at least 1 year’s experience in a Legal Secretary position.
  • Preferred: Conveyancing experience.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Diary management.
  • Good communication skills and telephone manner.
