An established organisation operating within a highly regulated, forward-looking sector is seeking a Legal Executive to join its in-house team. This is a varied role suited to someone highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable supporting across legal, corporate governance and compliance activities. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, with the opportunity to take ownership of key processes over time.
The Role
- You'll provide day-to-day support across legal, risk and company secretarial functions, including:
- Maintaining contracts, legal documentation and internal registers
- Supporting procurement processes, reporting and supplier-related activities
- Assisting with data protection, policy updates and compliance documentation
- Contributing to litigation preparation and document management
- Supporting insurance renewals and risk reporting processes
- Updating and maintaining the corporate risk register and action trackers
- Assisting with company secretarial duties, including meeting coordination, minutes and statutory records
- Handling internal and external queries, including KYC requests
- Providing general administrative support across the wider team
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role within a legal or regulated environment
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Proactive and adaptable, with a collaborative approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Able to manage workload independently and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Desirable: Law degree or company secretarial qualification
- Exposure to legal, compliance or governance processes
