Kitchen Manager in Belfast

Kitchen Manager VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Kitchen Manager for a well-established Northern Ireland employer. Our client is looking for a hands-on, organised catering lead to run its on-site staff canteen, delivering consistently good food and keeping the kitchen safe, efficient and well organised. Location: Lisburn Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours: Permanent, full-time, on site. Monday to Friday (early start, finishing mid-afternoon), plus a Saturday morning rota About the Role Key Responsibilities Run the day-to-day operation of the canteen, keeping food quality and service consistently high Plan menus and prepare and cook meals for staff to a high standard Order supplies, control stock and manage the catering budget Supervise and support the catering team Maintain a safe working environment, in line with health, safety, fire, hygiene and security requirements Keep HACCP and other food safety records accurate and up to date Promote a positive, friendly working atmosphere What You Will Need Essential Previous experience in a similar catering management or lead cook role Experience working to HACCP procedures and documentation Basic Food Hygiene certificate Good written and verbal communication skills A flexible approach, with the ability to work Saturday mornings on a rota Benefits Permanent, on-site position Monday to Friday working, with only occasional Saturday mornings Opportunity to run your own kitchen For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
