VANRATH are partnering an organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role will lead and manage delivery of a new network rollout across multiple NI locations for a major Public Sector organisation. Reporting into the Programme Manager, this is a full time role (5 days per week) and it is estimated will run for up to 12-18 months.
Salary: £55-60k
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end complying with project and quality standards, ensuring that objectives and timescales can be met.
- Establish and lead project teams in the delivery of projects to agreed standards.
- Work closely with Delivery, Service and Account Management groups to ensure resources are available as required to deliver projects.
- Report on project progress and other key performance metrics to Programme Manager, Head of Delivery and to the Management Board.
- Manage customer interactions and expectations during pre and post-delivery phases of project and to be available as a point of escalation for customers during the project phases.
- Manage the hand-over of the delivered project to the support and maintenance organisation.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in delivering multiple projects in complex commercial and technical environments and knowledge of project management techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on delivery.
- Ability to work independently to successfully tackle and resolve complex problems and issues.
- Strong negotiator to balance conflicting requirements and to ensure the availability of the resources required to deliver projects.
- Capable of leading a cross functional project team to successfully meet the delivery targets.
Qualifications
PRINCE2 accreditation or equivalent recognised industry PM accreditation.
