VANRATH have partnered with a well-established and growing supplier within the construction supplies sector across Northern Ireland. The organisation is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative for their trade counter serving the construction industry. The successful candidate will work within the company's Belfast branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join a busy and supportive team environment. If you have experience in customer service or sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, this could be a great fit for you. This role is full-time and permanent. Salary: ~£27,000 + commission (£30,000 - £32,400 OTE)
Responsibilities:
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to all customers at the trade counter.
- Taking the time to understand customer needs and offering appropriate product advice.
- Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and maximise sales.
- Maintaining an organised, clean and well-stocked trade counter area.
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishing shelves as required, escalating low stock levels to management.
- Handling customer enquiries both in person and over the phone in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Processing customer orders for collection.
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate:

- You will be self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
