About the organisation

VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a hugely successful engineering/technology business based in Greater Belfast, in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller. The organisation are at the forefront of their market and are renowned for their cutting-edge technology with precision engineering.

The Interim Financial Controller will manage a small finance team, while assuming responsibility for the full financial management of a complex, international organisation. This is an urgent posting for the business and will require a candidate with extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within a business with multiple entities across the globe.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with proven demonstrable experience
• Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven environment
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a group setting
• Excellent management skills with an ability to influence others
• Available at short notice

What you\’ll do

• Leadership and development of local finance team
• Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual closings, budgets & forecasts
• Monitoring of cashflow & investment plans
• Continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls
