You'll be joining a large regional public sector organisation delivering essential services across Northern Ireland. With a strong focus on governance, transparency and accountability, the organisation places high importance on effective information governance practices.
About you
- Degree with at least 1 year's relevant experience OR HND with 2 years' relevant experience
- Experience working in an administrative or governance-related environment
- Understanding of Information Governance areas such as FOI, Data Protection or Records Management
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to analyse data and report on trends and compliance
- Full driving licence (or access to suitable transport)
What you'll do
- Support the delivery of information governance services across FOI, Data Protection and Records Management
- Process and manage information requests including FOI, EIR and Subject Access Requests
- Provide advice and guidance to staff on governance policies and procedures
- Assist with data breach management and internal reviews
- Maintain records and governance systems, including electronic document management systems
- Support audits, reporting and compliance monitoring
- Contribute to policy development, training and awareness initiatives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external bodies where required
